Just Catching Up!!

Just now catching up posting on the blog. A couple of new happens to report and then hope to stay up to date in the future!!! lol

The REDS engines are showing signs of being very competitive engines. The .12 M3T engine is full of torque and nice high speed. Presently this engine is great for 1:10th sedans on short tight courses and also the nitro sprint oval race cars. The future will see new timing in the cranks to get the top end running even higher rpm's for those big tracks.

The Shepherd cars are excellent. While at Fort Myers for the Winter Nationals I was lucky to have the chance to listen to Oliver Mack from Germany go all around the entire car and talk about how to set this car up correctly. He was very patient in explaining everything. He even explained the correct ways of setting up your droop, springs, and other parts of the car and showed where mistakes could be made even by some of the faster drivers. This was really a great help.

The racing season is just getting started here in California. Unfortunately the winter rains have spoiled some race dates but that is just normal yearly stuff. The future looks good in Northern California with the RAMS club racing at a new location. Have not been there yet so not sure of the surface but hopefully racers will come out and race there on a monthly schedule. There are a lot of 1:10th racers in Northern that have only one place to race right now. Maybe this will give them an extra place and really get them to the top of their game.

Doman (prounounced Do-mon) Servos have come out with a new upgrade line of servos that TMA Motorsports will distribute here in the USA. The new servos are incased in a white waterporoof case. The line features are digital, coreless motor, dual ball bearing to support upright shaft, heat sink, and titanium gears. The servos are programable and can be used with 6.0V or 7.4V. These servos will perform as well if not better than popular servos that have a higher price line. The Doman servos provides high performance with surprisingly excellent price line.

Have Fun Racing!
